Fauxcahontas says Trump Threatens the existence of all life on the planet

Trump supporters find Trump's name-calling humorous, but the majority of Americans regard the unflattering, purposely mean-spirited use of derogatory language to describe political opponents as unbecoming and beneath the dignity of the White House. I think it is beneath the dignity of adults...even if they hide behind anonymity.

Meanwhile serious adults --- and people who care about the planet and life in America for our descendants ---will not be turned away from discussions and policy proposals due to infantile disparaging nicknames. Sen. Elizabeth Warren said that President Donald Trump is a threat to life on the planet because of his stance on climate change. "We are reaching a moment on our planet in which the crisis that is upon us may no longer be one that we will be able to successfully fight back against,” Warren said. “The science around this is not controversial,” Warren said. “The science is clear.”

You know what else is clear, the lack of support for Donald Trump's stance on climate change. There is not much support for Trump's insistence it is a hoax. In the last 10 years, some think climate change has affected the world a great deal (42 percent); only 18 percent say not at all. By a 51 percent-to-28 percent margin, Americans think we have not done enough to combat climate change. In the next 10 years, 66 percent of Americans think climate change will affect the world a great deal.

Senator Elizabeth Warren has my respect and no amount of undignified name calling will change that. It seems a lot of other American ADULTS feel the same way. Frankly, there are plenty of well-raised children who do better at understanding and respecting both of the issues, addressed in this post, than Trump and his name calling loyalists.

MAGA devotees should have told "Big Orange" that five years ago, when he started his campaign. He was the one who elevated insults and derogatory statements into the ionosphere, if not into orbit. Trump and the MAGA crowd thought he was so impressive and dominant when he was on the campaign trail - only to prove increasingly over time that' he's just Yosemite Sam and his gang that can't shoot straight. And half his inner circle abandoned him besides.
