Several Minneapolis residents are suing the city for additional police presence, patrols etc. One resident has had to pull bullets out of his house. Minneapolis one of those cities calling for the defunding of police.

This is typical. The out of touch elected are ruling with their emotions and feel good notions while the real people, the good citizens suffer.

Yes defunding the Police will lead to fewer arrests of criminals and fewer interactions between the Police and minority communities and who suffers?

I don't think too many good folks living in a tough neighborhood shed a tear when the local drug dealer gets arrested or the corner gang gets broken up. Of course it is short lived because the Liberal judges and the Democrat elected would rather appear to be nice people by not locking up those poor minority boys that are misguided and made a few mistakes.

When criminals are allowed to roam free the good people suffer and the elected don't care.

We need to remember this on election day.

It's true, they voted for it.

Change your politics and it will change your life.

People who vote for these nutjob politicians simply don't make the connection between who they vote into office and the consequences of the policies said politicians implement. Perfect example: to this day, there are people who believe deep in their little pea brains that the cause of extended civil unrest in some cities is Trump's fault. Yet, as soon is it became apparent that said violence could cost the Democrats the election, the riots practically came to a complete stop.

My sister and her husband absolutely hate Trump. They're upper middle class (low end 1 percenters). They refer to themselves as socially liberal and fiscally conservative. They literally refuse to acknowledge the connection between socialist/progressive policies and their financial situation. They think a socialist agenda won't have any impact on their economic situation and that the gains they've enjoyed in the stock market we're purely coincidental to Trump's business-friendly administration. They think "defund the police" means something besides, well, defunding the police. Even when confronted with examples of police budgets being cut and the resultant increase in crime, they deny it. It's strange to see this level of cognitive dissonance in other wise smart people.

The only way democrats are going to pull their head out of their azzes is to learn the hard way. This is what that looks like.

And they probably don't want their law-abiding citizens armed.
