No surprise here. Like OP mentioned, the left tried this stunt during the convention acceptance speeches also. But their job here isn't to go after the truth, but rather to create a false narrative that will bury any truth coming out later.

I don’t think leftists care if their nominee took millions of dollars in bribes from China to enrich his family, and himself.

We've been listening to Trump every day for the last 4 years. We know who he is and what he stands for. Biden, on the other hand, has been practically invisible. As such, it makes sense that more people would be interested in hearing what Biden has to say. The fact that Trump still draws large viewership numbers after all this time speaks volumes about his popularity.

No he didn’t. Learn to read.

Yesterday on i think Laura Ingraham's show, someone said that at least the moderator of Trumps townhall was feisty and did ask Trump the hard questions, unlike the Biden moderator who threw softballs and did journalist malpractice by NOT asking hard questions. so thats a good point. even though she was very hard against Trump, at least she asked hard questions which every journalist needs to do but haven't to the Dems.

Everyone seems to be so caught up in the ratings, but I don't see why it matters.

Some Trump voters watched Biden. Some Biden voters watched Trump.

We don't know how many of each that there were, so what is the importance of the ratings?

I watched both town halls. The Trump Town Hall was a lot more interesting because of it.

Not only did Stephanopoulos do a disservice to the voters, he did one to Biden. That Town Hall was a snoozefest. I could barely keep my eyes open, listening to him meandering on about issues with his scripted responses.
