She's a singer and former Disney star who is best known for her breakdown when she withdrew from performing after punching one of her female dancers. She had bulimia, took drugs and is bipolar.
So, someone who really has her act together and should be listened to!
She also sang a song called "Give Your Heart a Break," which I happen to really like. And I'll go right on liking it, and listening to it when the mood strikes me. But I care not one little bit about her political views.
I really couldn't care less, but please realize that she is probably getting more exposure for her viewpoints by the posting here (even if the posting was meant to criticize her for those views) than she would otherwise have had. I for one would never have known otherwise.
I remember when P!nk had a song called "Dear Mr. President" that was targeted to Bush during the Iraq war. Its nothing new to see famous singers try to call out Republican Presidents. They are so out of touch.
