15 million or 15 dollars, it would make no difference to those making it. Devaluing your currency by upping the minimum wage just makes everything more expensive.
The only people really helped would be homeowners paying a mortgage, it would make it relatively cheaper
In the province of Ontario Canada the minimum wage went up to 15 dollars an hours three years ago. Sure before it passed all the places paying less than that swore they would go out of business, be closing their doors.
They didn't....and three years later --- they haven't.
Target/Walmart all upped their minimum wage and people are still shopping in their store and their profits look good.
Ssure marginal businesses that are operating on a tight tight profit margin might have some issues -- but they would have an issue with anything that raise their costs -- including tariffs on imports........
