I can't fault her for following the law, if that is what she was doing. Some of the laws around drugs could us some change, but I am not going to fault her for prosecuting on the law. There are plenty of other reasons I don't like her.

The attorney general isnt even responsible for these cases, nor does the attorney general make laws.
No. A lot of people who lean right do NOT like to see people ending up in prison over minor non-violent drug offenses. Because a lot of people, me including, realize that this does NOTHING to help them, but EVERYTHING to hurt them. To be degraded, treated as a criminal for an addiction problem makes matters worse. Then they get out of prison, and now they have a record. Now people do not want to hire them. Now they do worse things, commit ACTUAL crimes then they end up in prison again, and the cycle goes on and on and on. Those with drug issues need help with addiction. They don't need to enter prison where their humanity is further degraded and they end up with a more desparate situation than they had before, and then they end up learning how to become a true criminal.
Wait, so the right hated her for doing something that they absolutely adore? I’m lost
That is because of the massive amount of air between your ears.
