That is what the Democrat Party Leadership really wants to end. Not Capitalism.

BTW, Karl Marx popularized the words “capitalist” and “capitalist mode of production” to attack our free market, free enterprise system, without having to reference the word “free”.

Our country is infested with a Fifth Column movement at MSNBC, NEW YORK TIMES, CNN, WASHINGTON POST, ATLANTIC MAGAZINE, New York Daily News, Time, ETC., and their countless Yellow Journalists, who work hand in hand with the Democrat Party socialist/communist leadership to plunder, paralyze and destroy our free market, free enterprise system.

Blue liberal states are striving and prospering while red states are falling behind and blaming illegal immigrants for stealing their minimum wage jobs.

Whatever the heck you want to call what the Democrats are doing.... is apparently working out very well.

Republicans are not capitalists. If they were, they would be libertarians. They are hooked on government bailouts, tax breaks and credits.

Actually, the Democrat Party Leadership wants to severely curtail "capitalism" utilized by our free market, free enterprise system, but keep government monopolized and controlled "capitalism" alive, as in the green energy money laundering type of operation which funneled 80 percent of green energy money to their donors.

Let us not forget the words of Thomas Jefferson’s First Annual Message to Congress :

”Agriculture, manufactures, commerce, and navigation, the four pillars of our prosperity, are the most thriving when left most free to individual enterprise.”

That is what the Democrat Party Leadership wants to end. Not Capitalism. The Democrat Party Leadership is just fine with taking a portion of your earned wages and then “investing” that “capital” to advance their notoriously evil ends.

cap·i·tal·ism

noun: capitalism
an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.

I don’t know what kind of trope you are trying to spin, but yes, many democrats now want to change dramatically the balance between capitalism and socialism. As you said in your post, Democrats want to do away with “free markets”. That is hardcore socialism/Communism the likes of only a few countries around the globe have. Even the economies the dems point to in Europe that we supposedly socialist, are very much based on capitalism.
Thank you for your opinion.

The significant feature of “capitalism” is the investment and manipulation of capital to achieve an anticipated profit and/or goal.

cap·i·tal

/ˈkapədl/

noun

wealth in the form of money or other assets owned by a person or organization or available or contributed for a particular purpose such as starting a company or investing.

“rates of return on invested capital were high”

synonyms: money, finance(s), funds, the wherewithal, the means, assets, wealth, resources, reserves

.

Obama/Biden's green energy money laundering operation is a form of capitalism in which 80 percent of the "capital" invested went to Obama's donors.

Yup. The following is very good for democrat donors:

see: 80% of Obama green jobs money goes to Obama donors.

Why do you support such robbery?

Frederic Bastiat's quote is without foundation as applied to our constitutionally limited system of government.

In fact "the law" [our Constitution] has been violated to avoid the defined and limited powers granted, in order to accomplish nefarious evil ends.

The fault in not found in our Constitution, but in a failure to enforce its text and documented legislative intent which gives context to its text.
