If hate crime were a commodity, the price would be outrageous. Supply is nowhere near demand. Fyi- whites were lynched too.

Leaving a noose is intimidation and threatening act, but I don't buy it's automatically one based on race and shouldn't be some outsized federal crime.
agreed, it’s been elevated to an utterly ridiculous level of supposed meaningfulness.
so much so, that a whole FBI squad was delegated to investigate- but can’t be bothered wasting their time on hordes of antiFA cretins burning down businesses.

NASCAR, FBI say Bubba Wallace not target of a hate crime

Situation Room
The FBI and Justice Department said in a statement that video evidence shows the noose found in a garage assigned to NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace had been there as far back as October 2019. CNN's Evan Pérez reports the investigation's conclusion finds Wallace was not the victim of a hate crime.

FBI says Bubba Wallace not a target of a hate crime

(CNN)The FBI said it has concluded its investigation in regard to the noose found in the team garage of NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and determined he was not the target of a hate crime.

"The FBI learned that garage number 4, where the noose was found, was assigned to Bubba Wallace last week," the agency said in a statement Tuesday. "The investigation also revealed evidence, including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR, that the noose found in garage number 4 was in that garage as early as October 2019. Although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week."

Well, this sounds more believable than the shoe nooses (laces) left outside someones dorm room.

You are correct, something is "fishy" about this story, they knew from the beginning that there was no hate crime, yet they all went along with the fraud. A declining NASCAR ginning up some publicity.

Not one person working at that race track spoke out?ad

Come on -- that's odd.

It took the FBI to discover why there was a 'noose' in the garage?

Are you telling me everyone at Talladega was in on it?

It's a good thing.

But not one person spoke up?

hmmmm -- fishy........oddd....

It obviously isn't a symbol of anything.

Bubba never saw it....

So someone on HIS staff over reacted. Would be interesting to know who right?

Yep, will never understand the rapid and large response from the feds such things, it should be a local issue.

To even suggest that it was not a noose and something else could get someone fired, shamed on social media, etc, why risk that?

Better to keep your mouth shut.
