Yeah, he was a real threat running away with a taser the officer knew full well had been fired twice and was no threat and who failed to both control his detainee and control his weapon.
And yeah, the man should have been arrested, charged, tried, and sentenced if convicted. But nothing he id is a capital offense.
The man shouldn't have resisted arrest, steal a cop's taser, and aim it at the officers.

Yeah, during a violent confrontation at night time with limited visibility and split-second decision making, I am sure people keep count of how many cartridges left in the taser.
What is your next argument? Cops should be able to count how many bullets the bad guy discharges from their handgun?
This shooting was definitely justified. And didn't they let him out of jail even though he was there for sexually abusing a child? The cop should get a medal for taking out such a POS.
