Those are not reasonable conclusions from their data and just looking at the world around them. If the death rate were, in fact, 0.03% - with 20,000 dead New Yorkers, it would mean close to 70 million New Yorkers were infected.
Anyone else see a problem there? : /
Doctors are just people like everyone else. I have not found them to be better at math or data than the next non-math expert. It's not that there aren't doctors who thrive on research, data, and conclusions. It's just that these two dudes ain't them.
