Those are not reasonable conclusions from their data and just looking at the world around them. If the death rate were, in fact, 0.03% - with 20,000 dead New Yorkers, it would mean close to 70 million New Yorkers were infected.

Anyone else see a problem there? : /

Doctors are just people like everyone else. I have not found them to be better at math or data than the next non-math expert. It's not that there aren't doctors who thrive on research, data, and conclusions. It's just that these two dudes ain't them.

Why isnt Gavin Newsom closing ALL California's beaches?

How many of you complained when Florida failed to take statewide action, and now let's hear the same about California.

I don't know. I scratched my head at that too. That said I blame the counties like Florida.

Young and middle-aged people, barely sick with COVID-19, are dying from strokes, leaving patients in their 30s and 40s debilitated or dead. Some didn’t even know they were infected.

Reports of strokes in the young and middle-aged in many hospitals in communities hit hard by the novel coronavirus are the latest twist in our evolving understanding of its connected disease, COVID-19. Even as the virus has infected nearly 2.8 million people worldwide and killed about 195,000 as of Friday, its biological mechanisms continue to elude top scientific minds. Once thought to be a pathogen that primarily attacks the lungs, it has turned out to be a much more formidable foe — impacting nearly every major organ system in the body.

I have a feeling this virus is going to be more devastating in the long run than we know.

The doctors are on the front line-and are not politicized. The CDC and WHO employees are government bureaucrats first and foremost.

Fascinating article about the blot clotting issues associated with covid-19.

Blood clots form and travel to the lungs (embolisms), heart (heart attack), and/or brain (stroke).

Yikes!
