It's been obvious that the DNC establishment wants an establishment candidate. Judging by anti Tulsi posts online they label her a female dog. Even Saturday Night Live picked up on or was told portray her as witch. The DNC and others give lower profile or alternate candidates just enough to stay in the DNC/primaries and not go third party which they fear the most.
This only helps Trump in his reelection bid. Outside of Biden, Tulsi is the only Democrat that I believe would have a chance against Donald. And Biden's obvious mental deterioration makes him much less likely to win.
Tulsi takes the normal liberal positions for Democrats on many issues so would be an attractive candidate for them. Her mistake was attacking her competition in the first debate which turned the DNC off, as well as many who watched it.
Since I'm not a liberal I'm glad the Democrats are mistepping once again. Who else really has a chance? Elizabeth Warren? No, a dork making false promises. Mayor Pete? No, not enough experience and his gay lifestyle will turn many voters off. Honestly, he's pretty much an empty suit. Bloomberg? No, he either thinks he can buy an election by running many ads, or he's just trying to help out other Democrat candidates and plans on dropping out in a couple of months. He lacks charisma and I doubt enough people will support his stances on issues. Yang, Patrick, Klobuchar,; not sure why they are still in the race, or anyone else for that matter. I know I left out at least one easy to forget Democrat candidate.
