The heads of MI5 and MI6 and one of Mrs May’s most trusted security advisers were told about former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele’s memos on the Trump campaign in the weeks after his November 2016 election victory.

They actually knew well before November 2016.
Well, that report had big words in it, and they had to simplify the content so Trump could understand it. That takes time, ya know.

May is standing down, there is now a leadership contest, this does not constitute a Government collapsing.

Tony Blair stood down half way through a term and handed the leadership to Gordon Brown and Cameron stood down causing a leadership contest.

May is stepping down but it's not the collapse of the Government which would require a succesful vote of no confidence in the Government and a vote of no confidence in the PM neither of which has happened.

As for Trunp's advice he told May to sue the EU, which was ridiculous advice.

Well, she's trying to bring her deal back for a 4th vote. Hardly the move of someone stepping down.

It will fail of course and when it does, she will be at the end. Stepping down, I guess, is a nice way to say it. It's a collapse. The Torys have been struck a mortal blow by her moves.

There has been a framework put in place as to wehen she steps down, in terms of her bill, it's been agreed to allow some changes and comprimises before putting it to Parliament for a final time.

In terms of those waiting in the wings to takeover are numerous candidates, and Brexiteer Boris Johnson, who Trump has signalled his support for in the past, is among the favourities to takeover from May.

Boris Johnson is a buffoon. If the Tories are looking for a singularly unqualified PM capable of making Jeremy Corbyn look like the sane option, he is it.

May has completely betrayed the UK people with her 4pm speech. Her speech this afternoon puts her place in the history books right up there with Neville Chamberlain.

Oh and BTW, she takes no responsibility for the current mess. It's the fault of the voters, parliament, and anyone else but her.

She's humiliated the UK.

Johnson whilst one of the bookmakers favourites is one of a least, three have so far declared, a further ten have publically expressed an interest in standing, and a further seventeen have received recent speculation as potential leadership candidates.

Meaning there are up to 30 candidates in he offing, and these potential candidates will have to be whittled down to two, who will then be voted on by local conservative party members.

There is no guarantee that Johnson will be the next leader, however he remains a potential leader at the moment for the simple reason that along with Esther McVey and Rory Stewart, who both don't stand a cat in hells chance, he has actually declared and out his name forward.

We will have to wait and see who else out of the 30 names actually declares.

So...a foreign nation was trying to influence the US presidential election? And a foreign operative was paid by a US presidential candidate (or her party) in order to create a faux dossier to smear her opponent? And US law enforcement used said faux document to get a warrant to spy on the campaign? And the faux dossier was leaked to and published by the US MSM?

Well, that's the popular lickspittle myth -- you all have to make things coincide with your devotion to Trump.

Trump repeats claims that GCHQ spied on his campaign in 2016 - Sky News

GCHQ is the equivalent of the US NSA and is a signals intelligence agency and far from wire tapping Mr Trump, they expressed concerns as did numerous other western intelligence agencies at the fact that Russian contacts that they reguarly observed as part of their intelligence role were in fact in contact with the Trump campaign.

It should be noted that GCHQ have a close woring relationship with US Intelligence and other five eyes countries, as well as with many European Intelligence Agencies.

The US might have copies of intelligence concerns raised by the UK (GCHQ), Germany, Estonia and Poland. Australia, the Dutch and the French spy agency, the General Directorate for External Security (DGSE).

What is... 5 EYES.... Nunes has and Gowdy had top security clearance. They can view everything the President gets to see, from our intel community.
