DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris says she owns a gun and called it a "false choice" that the only two gun control options are complete, unrestricted access or a desire to seize everyone's guns.

The senator from California told reporters after a campaign event in Iowa that she is a gun owner. She says, "I own a gun for probably the reason that a lot of people do: for personal safety."
Well, well, well!!!!

See how the other side speaks with forked tongue!

Personal safety! That's why 99% of Americans own guns

But the left wants to stop that!

At least she admitted it

That is simply not true, your assertion that the left wants to stop that.
I know a lot of Democrats that own guns. No one wants to totally do away with the second Amendment rights.
Just more fear mongering.
Trying to enact some common sense gun legislation, is not the same thing as wanting to make everyone get rid of their guns.

Actually, if you had bothered to read anything about what she said, you would have learned that she was making the point that no gun control laws vs. full gun confiscation is a false choice. In other words, she supports gun ownership as a gun owner herself, AND thinks certain gun control measures should be looked at.

“No one wants to totally do away with the 2nd amendment” = ultimate goal is to confiscate your guns but not mine or criminals.

If she lives in a Red Flag Law state she won't have that gun very long.

Or your statement is hyperbole and she obviously would by any rational interpretation of such law. Hmm, I wonder which one is more accurate, yours or mine.

Yeah, they just want to make it so that functionally I can't carry on my person when out and about in public (look at many a leftist city within leftist states like NYC and Los Angeles). My ability to protect myself doesn't end at my front door

I think your Gun rights....everyone's gun rights should be protected.
But, I think children's right to go to school without being gun down and killed
has to be considered.
