According to CNN exit polls, veterans voted at a 2-1 ratio for Trump over Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton. In Ohio, North Carolina and Florida -- battleground states rich with military history -- a number of counties pulled for Trump at numbers higher than those John McCain and Mitt Romney candidates had over President Obama in 2008 and 2012.

Trump wants to end the wars in the middle east and bring troops home. All of a sudden, dems decided they like those wars.

I can't speak for anybody else, but from what I heard from the veterans I know of(my brother, my two uncles, my fiance, best friends from childhood, friends, people I met at VA hospital, etc, etc, etc.) I haven't met ONE McCain fan. If you are talking about the comment "I like people who are not captured", I don't know one veteran in real life was offended by it. Other people probably claim otherwise, I can only speak for my own experience and people I know anyway.

Duh. This is the expected result since both those candidates(McCain and Romney) lost their election.

When you consider how much more praise McCain gets than any other veteran, he's not appealing to other veterans....

People who serve to protect this nation want a president who is serious about protecting this nation. It's no mystery why they support him. The real mystery is why the ratio is not higher in favor of Trump. Are soyboys signing up for the armed service these days?

I still don`t like those wars but if we end them does that mean we don`t have to throw another $74 Billion at the Pentagon? I think not.

A president who was serious about protecting the nation would heed the advice of our intelligence agencies, not Putin. Perhaps our soldiers don`t know that Trump isn`t shy about starting a war with Iran against all advice.

More absurdity and fear mongering. Where's the proof for the wacky claims being made? There is none. Only heresy that is regurgitated by brain dead zombies with nothing better to do with their lives, and nothing of value to contribute. It's hard to fathom how much money has been wasted investigating Trump, and the left has nothing to show for it. Trump is looking pretty clean, considering the mass of mud that has been slung in his direction by the rabid left.

I think the attacks on Mccain are unnecessary, personally. This is one of those awkward facepalm situations where you try and think of a way to justify it, but come up with nothing. It's just all around pointless.

A better solution would be to simply ignore these chattering heads.
