Trump issued a statement in essence saying he's going to take the money for the border wall, but will not abide by any of the conditions, clauses or poison pills written into the bill by the D's if he deems they will "interfere with the exercise of the President’s constitutional authorities. He goes paragraph by paragraph and explains what he will not abide by. America wins...again!

You think one side "tricking" the other is winning??? Really? Is that what politics has devolved to?

As a moderate I can definitely say that if the democrats "tricked" the republicans you would be all up in arms!

With these kinds of posts (yours) you need to consider the quality (or lack of intellectual quality) in the post you are responding to. When people are all about one party vs the other, it tells a lot about their capacity. Unfortunate, but reality. These people exist and can bring this nation down.

I think that the title of this thread should have been, "The people of the United States are losing again".

Tricking (cheating) someone is not really winning, in my opinion. But, then, how many times has Trump been honest?

So you are saying the POTUS is not going to follow the law?

That would be a BAD thing to anyone but completely brainwashed koolaid drinkers that actually want a dictator.

This. I wonder if Trump can actually be punished for this? I mean, he's breaking a law, right?

Why wouldn't you as a moderate not raise the same objection when the democrats pull their dirty tricks including passing legislation no one has time to read before a gov. shut down would begin ? Why ?
