Good answer...you sound a lot like a nonsensical Ttump impersonator. Either that or you time traveled back to the Vietnam era where Archie Bunker-types could only say "Love it or leave it" instead of "Stop it or fix it".

Kate Steinle and thousands of other Americans thought they were "marked safe" too. They're now dead or rape survivors and liberals couldn't care less about it.

Gun control is a topic for another thread.

As I said, and as your vapid post proves, liberals couldn't care less about the victims of preventable crime by illegal aliens.

The LAWS pertaining to National Emergency says he CAN.

It has been posted several times. I suggest you find it and read it.
Let's just say that my faith in your(and many of the other wannabe internet lawyers in this thread) abilities to correctly interpret the law is rather... dim.

I actually care a lot about the victims of preventable gun violence. As I stated, gun control is a topic for another thread.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler released the following statement on President Donald Trump preparing to declare a national emergency at the southern border:

Quote:
“The President’s declaration of a national emergency would be an abuse of his constitutional oath and an affront to the separation of powers. Congress has the exclusive power of the purse, and the Constitution specifically prohibits the President from spending money that has not been appropriated. Congress has just finished a weeks-long budget negotiation. The result agreed to by both parties includes limited funds to construct barriers—but it does not include a medieval border wall. The President has now announced that he will ignore Congress’s express wishes by inventing a so-called ‘emergency.’ This is a gross abuse of power that cannot be tolerated.
The rest of his statement can be found here:

Now he has a possible $8 billion. Well done Mr. President.
3.5 billion that Trump “has” came from new Military construction. So no new housing for the troops, no new training facilities for the troops, no rebuilding Tyndall AFB after Hurricane Micheal. Yeah, well done, Cadet Bonespurs.
