It's a shame the NRA has become such a Russia loving, political arm of the GOP... Probably will not help their declining popularity and membership among the general public.

Nothing burger about a vacation?

There numbers are down because we don't have an American hating pres now. Rest assured, if Harris gets in that number will skyrocket again.

Years from now libs will still be crying it was Hillary's turn

I do agree that the NRA has become political but what else should they be when the Democrats are vowing to dismantle the Second amendment?

I don't know if Trump has ever even held a gun before but he either respects the Constitution or he knows better than to go after law abiding gun owners.

If a Democrat gets elected in 2020 especially one from the current crop of Pro Big Brother Big Government Socialists we will see the attacks on gun owners ramp up again. Kamala Harris was on a rant the other day about "assault weapons".

If a Dem gets elected in 2020 we will see the ranks of the NRA swell again with outraged freedom loving Americans.

Gun ownership is at its lowest even after the crazy buying spree during Obama's tenure. Those record gun sales hid the fact that less and less Americans own guns. Instead of the NRA focusing on what those existing members or potential members would want, they just went full political. The NRA alienated any potential members from the left all the way to Center-Right because people that did not like their political pushes and videos post school or mass shootings refused to join. I also have a suspicion that the NRA leadership ignored member concerns because of the money flowing in for political use. Membership dues cant compete with million dollar donations from PACS and Billionaires and Russia.

There is little reason to be a NRA member. Many of the discounts are gone and gun training courses with discounts are easy to find with the internet.

Wrong. But thanks for playing

Maybe they shouldn't be so tone deaf about the gun problem in this country and stop attacking the doctors who have to deal with the victims

The Russia /gop alliances are just the cherry on top of the massive **** sundae

Yeah, just like President Obama did, right?

Meanwhile, the only thing the right offers after every mass shooting is useless "thoughts and prayers." And the carnage continues...

I have often found that the people who are most afraid of handling a gun, who don’t have the confidence to learn how to properly shoot a gun, and who want to depend on others to protect them and their families, are most vocal against goals of the NRA.

Are they political? Sure. They support those who share the opinion that we should kill the bad guys before they kill us.

Sort of like Planned Parenthood. Are they political. Sure. They support those who share the opinion that we should kill near birth babies. Why? Don’t ask me.

Or, Door #3: He'll pander to anyone making large contributions to his campaign.

Or, maybe because they choose as their president someone who's not a convicted felon for no other reason than legal technicalities.
