I don't think it will. Eventually, these unpaid workers are going to stop coming to work. The country will grind to a halt without air traffic controllers and the TSA. And Lil' Donnie, who Americans blame for the shutdown by wide margins, will be forced to cave--or the worthless Republican party will be forced to.
Let's hope this happens before some serious incident occurs that costs lives. That would really put a nail in his, and the GOP's, coffin.

Trump is not the boss of the House of Representatives. The House controls the purse strings. It's not a whole different place. It's the same place it's always been. Trump just thought he could call all the shots. He was mistaken.
You just described Pelosi’s stance. Trump is open to negotiate to get something he ran and won the presidency on. Pelosi is too afraid to do what’s right and engage in a discussion where both sides can get something they want.

The wall that Bill Clinton (You know, Hillary's husband---the same Hillary you voted for president in 2016) had a wall built on the San Diego/Tijuana border has drastically cut down on crime and illegal crossings. The BP wants a barrier on the border, and you know better than they do, "Polly"?
And the vast majority who oppose the wall are lefty liberals who haven't bothered to educate themselves on the effectiveness of the good walls. Many hire illegal aliens for profit, are bleeding heart liberals without a brain in their heads or have ethnic ties to illegal aliens so of course they don't want a wall to stop the flow of illegal aliens into our country. The Democrat congress critters are pandering to ethnocentric Hispanics who want the flow of their illegal amigos to keep coming in exchange for their votes and they also want to make future Democrats out of these illegal aliens. Their anti-American opinions mean nothing! Pelosi and Schumer are the ones throwing childish temper tantrums by not negotiating in good faith with Trump and putting illegal aliens above the safety and security of our own citizens.
