Not much of a win, but I think presidents might as well do the SOTU from the oval office without all the ridiculous hand-clapping etc in the House.

The ridiculous hand-clapping is the only reason Trump would give a Sotu.

Trump should use his DC Hotel for the speech. An historic property. He can charge the government a few million dollars to rent the space, and in effect, pay himself for making a Constitutionally sanctioned speech. In Trump's world, that is damned near perfect.

Its interesting to note that Pelosi is the leader of silencing all view points but the one she has.

Social media elites, college campuses etc....all doing the same, but Pelosi has decide to wear the crown advocating for one party rule and silencing the opposition. Dictators do that and the goal of one party rule is a dictatorship.

Such a shame, actually happy about this. SMH....
I despise the majority of the democratic party but would be thrilled to see both sides working together, because that is what would keep our country strong and moving forward, divisiveness does not.

Would love to see Pelosi holding a rolled-up Forbes the next time they meet.

She certainly looks like a “winner”. From your own article:

She has deprived Trump of a chance to make his best case to Americans on the shutdown in a spotlight he loves. The pageantry of the State of the Union gives a president a symbolic advantage and filter free access to tens of millions of viewers. Trump could have used a prime-time stage to weave a narrative about his presidency as a whole, to stress the strength of the economy and what he regards as the success of his nuclear diplomacy with North Korea.

Nancy is keeping the Government shut down because she won’t allow any funding at all for Border barriers.
It makes no sense to anyone .... she should tear down those Immoral Walls in California.

She sure is a #winner. Meanwhile, the President of the United States has asked his Budget Director for figures to handle a shut down continuing into March.

It seems like common sense to postpone the SOTU until after the full government is operational. I don't consider it a win for Pelosi or dems but it is almost certainly a blow to Trump's ego.

Interesting that OP only cares that Democrats are "winning". Party before country, dangerous and sad.
