No, politics is figuring out what is best for the people you represent. What the GOP did to Garland was a pure power grab.

And if he wanted to keep his "reputation", perhaps he shouldn't lie on the stand.

She is more magnanimous to Ford than I am but her response thus far is backed up with actual reasoning and logic. I can not necessarily find fault with it even for those points I disagree with her on. Oh and if Senator Flake needs advice on how to proceed, I would point to Senator Collins’ speech.

She just gave a class in how to deliver an effective persuasive speech.
