Putting aside left wingers assassinating someone, he's going to be confirmed. There's always a chance for extreme left wing violence but security is doing pretty well.

Maybe we can persuade Sarah Palin to run against her in 2022.
Politics is like the wind. It can change direction at any time, without warning.
You should remember that and study American history, perhaps.

I’m sure the Dems will make up more reasons not to vote for him between then and now. I’m not sure it will prevent his confirmation.

I believe the political process will be sufficient, thank you.

Agreed, but the 300+ anti-BK folks who were arrested, disagree with you.

No you don't, you hope you can bully just a couple weak people with violent, paid protests and threats against their families to vote no.

No, not if he got ahead of it. But his lying and partisan vitriolic attack on democrats during this hearing firmly disqualifies him. As the BAR association puts it, he does not have the temperament.

So at this point he goes through unless Collins and Manchin decide to vote no.

So do we have any additional information on what Senator Grassley referred to in his letter to Ford's attorneys? As a reminder, the interesting phrase of "in light of recently uncovered information." He's specifically looking for correspondence between Feinstein, Hirono, and Ford.

That is not a correct assessment. One of Murkowski's biggest support bases comes from the Native Alaskans in the Alaskan interior, who have issues with some of Kavanaugh’s previous rulings on Native peoples’ sovereignty cases. Although not quite as bad, she is like Manchin in the sense that her constituents will not be happy if she votes with the party.

This is not about the #metoo movement for her.
