WYOMING GOP OFFICE SET ON FIRE LESS THAN TWO DAYS AFTER OPENING — POLICE SAY IT WAS INTENTIONAL

5:25 PM 09/06/2018
Peter Hasson | Reporter

A Republican Party office in Wyoming was set on fire just two days after opening, and police believe it was intentional.
Local police are working with federal authorities in their investigation.

The fire appears to have been set intentionally, Laramie Police Department spokesman Steve Morgan told TheDCNF.

The local police department is cooperating with the federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) in the ongoing investigation, Morgan said, adding that authorities have not yet identified a suspect or a motive for the fire.

The burnt office is shared by the Albany County Republican Party and the Wyoming College Republicans, who began moving in on Tuesday, less than 48 hours before the fire, Albany GOP spokesman Ben McKay said.

Wow. Even in Wyoming, left-wingers are unhinged.

Whoever did this must be arrested and jailed for a very long time.

This is crazy as hell and needs to stop. Don't expect the MSM to cover it like you know they would if the roles/parties were reversed. This Maxine Waters/Barack Obama (he told his supporters to get in people's faces and Maxine Waters has been just as nasty) politics of violence must be condemned in the strongest manner possible.

Isnt that mainly how America came to be a free and separate nation in the first place though? American Revolution was basically a violent overthrow of a sitting Govt.

True, but an oppressive government. No comparison.

I know Wyoming. This wasn't political. It was personal.

I don't know who's mad at who, but there aren't enough Democrats in Wyoming to fill up the back of a pickup truck.

Everyone knows everyone else in Wyoming, and once a grudge starts it goes on forever. It's more likely there's some GOP insider fight going on for party control than a Democrat setting the fire.

Clinton received 42% of the 2016 presidential votes in Albany county, where the fire occurred. Evidently there are indeed thousands of democrats in that county.

It is ridiculous to insist that it wasn’t political without knowing the facts yet.

Albany county, Wyoming. Population 36,000. Laramie, the county seat, has a population of 28,850. It's the 3rd largest city in the state.
