If a product is being stolen, they have every right to lock it up. On a personal note, I hate it when stores do that. You waste time getting a sales person to open a case up and all. I often just leave.
Yep. I get Hay Fever at this time of year. In order to buy my over-the-counter allergy medicine, I've got to show photo ID and they register me in a state database. The worst part I can only buy it every 14 days & it's a 10 day supply.
Your doc should be able to write a script for you so that you can get more than that, even though it's an otc (btc?) drug.
Instead of locking them up, why not put those security things on them that beep when you try to go out the door with the product?
The cost of hair care items would go up significantly if you did that. It wouldn't make sense.
Instead, lock them up like they do the Mucinex, razor blades and electric toothbrushes and just assume if they're locked up there must be a lot of people getting a five finger discount on them, instead of pretending it's about race. Obviously white people are stealing, too.
How many of those who aren't Black use Black hair care products?
I'm mixed, only 1/8 black (Ethiopian) and generally assumed by others to be Mediterranean or Middle Eastern or South American, but I use black hair care products because they do the best job at taming my hair consistently.
This is about stealing black hair care products, not using them.
A white friend of mine used to use Afro-sheen or something from the Black Hair Products section. Better than Brylcream or Pomade, he said.
I don't think he stole it though.
