Nice job of conveniently overlooking those who hire illegals. the reason they come in the first place. Funny it seems Republicans don't seem to want to make an issue of those who profit from cheap illegal labor.

It's very dangerous to have a draft-doger with no experience of war, nor any real knowledge via history, dreaming that war is a glorious enterprise which will promote his popularity.
This isn’t out of the question or unrealistic. After watching some Fox News vids over the last few months with Venezuela clearly deteriorating by the day, I’m starting to realize that there IS a consensus of fairly considerable size that would suppprt such a move. Dubya already proved that a pretext can be easily conjured up for an invasion that Americans will get behind.
Trump is under tremendous heat, and an intervention would definitely bury any possible headline from Mueller. Congressional Republicans are under even more heat, so why would they oppose it?
Fox’s Venezuela coverage is all about a pretext for war if you listen well enough. They keep screaming about socialism, dictatorship, oil, and how this is a humanitarian disaster. Also mentioned is how the average Venezuelan has lost 25 lbs from starvation. I don’t buy it.
This is beginning to sound like the runup to intervening...and I damn sure hope I’m wrong. We have no pressing national interests in Venezuela. None.
Any take-down of a local State, say out to Iran, that is not friendly to us and has reason to look Eastward is in our national interest. From a strict geopolitical perspective. That's not really debatable.

I have to ask though, there aren't many states that are more "big ag" than Iowa and the guy that murdered the college student there had to go through a verification process.
Trumps position has been anti-war, before and after election, and done much to avoid war which has worked out nicely so far. I do see many others in gov. interested in starting a new war somewhere. They are ever present no matter the party in power. Trump isn't among them.

When Trump starts our next war it would most likely be with Iran. Venezuela is a no win situation for the U.S., but Iran is boxed in by Iraq and Afghanistan, so U.S. assets are in place already.
I'm sure that Trump is looking for an opening in Venezuela, especially if his mouthpiece at Fox is making noise about it (I wouldn't know as I don't watch propaganda) but there is not much of an opening there.

I haven't checked lately, but is there anything going on in Grenada? That seemed to go well the first time, so why not try a repeat? Less things to go wrong when compared to Venezuela or Iran.
