Every issue or problem or proposed solution to a problem is not Left or Right! I am heartsick over labels and all or none thinking! This is not America! Do we even understand how successful the divide and conquer M.O. has been?

Nobody got to me, I've considered many in the media to be my enemy for decades now. The media outlets we have today are nothing like the established media out lets that existed a century ago.
Too bad we got all those cable tv and subscription radio stations.. Even if the Fairness Doctrine and equal time for station notated programing had not been rescinded, they cannot control non leased airwaves.
IMO, threatening and harming people is a symptom of a much deeper problem.

At the time, initially, I was a Trump supporter. The more into the debates season, it was clear the debate hosts were falling all over themselves for Trump. They didn't keep time for any answers. The debate moderators pretty much allowed the Republicans running for POTUS to be shut down by Trump. He does know how to get attention.
As far as Billary goes, she was the only game in town. Nobody took Sanders seriously until he started winning primaries.. And DWS wasn't gonna let them.

The only reason anyone in the media treated Trump nicely or even fairly during the 2016 election cycle was because they thought he would be the easiest for Hillary to beat. The media was and has always been in the tank for Hillary Clinton, they were doing their job to get her elected by making sure Trump won the primary and ended up in the GE. Once the primaries were over and it was clear that Trump was the nominee the claws came out and they attacked him daily which continues today.

Of course this happens conveniently after Trump talks down Lemon. CSPAN can obviously track down the caller using the phone number with the help of police right? A real threat against the press can't be swept under the rug like that especially when it was on live TV. If nothing happens then I think we an chalk this up to a fake outrage/threats. Similar to the box being mailed to Maxine Waters' office simply saying "Anthrax" on the top. Some of these things feel like stunts.
We need to have a more fair media though. One that does not run >70% of their coverage against a President/candidate as negative (both sides), doesn't flip flop on issues depending on who is in power, and one that doesn't only give surface headlines/narratives. Like people actually believe kids were have just now been separated from their parents at the border when that's been happening for decades. But of course, that won't happen. The strings at the top won't let it because of ratings.
