Let's consider the wing with which people are associated with, when speaking of political partisanship.
LEFT WING - the section of a political party, government or group that holds the most left or radical views.

Left = opposition to traditional authority
Right = support of traditional authority
The QUESTION : "WHAT" is traditional authority in these united States of America?
A. The government instituted to secure Creator endowed rights to life, liberty, inherent powers, absolute ownership, etc, etc from predators?
B. The perpetually bankrupt collectivist totalitarian police state government that imposes mandatory civic duties, compulsory charity (slavery) and expropriation of property (theft) for the benefit of another?
Methinks it is not the "tax and bribe" socialist democracy.
What about Europe?
Did Adolf Hitler (and Mussolini) support or oppose traditional authority?
Oppose.
Even Francisco Franco, who originally claimed to be for the monarchy, and against the republicans, set himself up as dictator - El Caudillo (the Chief).
OPPOSITION = LEFT WING.
So-called Fascists weren't right wing. They were liars, thieves and scoundrels who perverted language and symbols to achieve their goals by FOOLING the people.
Like the LEFT everywhere.
SUMMED UP: Collectivists (and their useful idiots) are thieves, liars, and slavers, seeking to dispossess others of their private property, and imposing involuntary servitude under the guise of compulsory charity - as if slavery is a viable remedy for the ills of mankind.
Though claiming to be champions of the oppressed and denouncing everyone else as oppressors, the left wing are the true oppressors. The left wing collectivists want us to submit to the all powerful State, of which they will magnanimously administer - for a hefty fee - for our own good.
Ironically, Karl Marx would’ve been a lousy Marxist, due to being a deadbeat dad.
