In my time spent in the USA, it was clear that problems of violence were more acute in poor black neighborhoods than even in poor (white) latino neighborhoods or poor white neighborhoods. The white trailer park in west virigina may have its problem with domestic violence, meth etc but the level of homicide is nowhere near what's going on in american black neighborhoods.
That's because inner-city black neighborhoods are crowded urban areas, with exponentially more people per square mile. There are a LOT more people, a LOT closer to each other, so the drug dealers are stepping on each other's toes, which is a big no no.
Rural trailer parks in West Virginia are much more spread out, and there aren't thousands of people within a few square blocks.
In London most black people are descended from the Afro-Caribbean migrants who moved to the UK in the early 1960s.
They're a specific ethnic group which feature in the official census of the population of the UK.
It's why I specifically referred to it in terms of London and not the United States where black or whatever the current fashionable term is for describing black people is used.
But hey,let's not jump to conclusions.
BLM is more concerned with systematic killing of blacks sanctioned by the government and their workers with little to no repercussions on the legal front. There’s not much they or anyone else can do about two a-holes trying to kill each other over a street beef.
Then,across the pond in London,drill rapper Siddique Kamara, also known as Incognito and SK,was stabbed to death.
Kamara had himself been cleared of killing another rapper at a trial earlier this year and was friends with a fellow rapper Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton, who was found with fatal gunshot wounds in London in May.
There have been 87 murders in London so far this year and most of the victims of this spike in murders come from the Afro-Caribbean and recently-arrived immigrant community.
The violence is being caused by gang warfare and turf disputes over drugs which often manifest itself in rap videos posted online.
What has been happening in the USA for decades has now spread to London.
When,exactly,will Black Lives Matter be protesting about black people killing fellow black people ?
Violence has always been in issues in the impoverished Black ghettos in America, and in places lie London. Rap music did not cause this. The violence was always there. Jamaica has had a high murder rate long before rap music ever existed. Drugs and gangs were always around long before rap music music even existed.
What happened in London has been happening in London since the 1970s. London had riots in the Brixton part of the London during the early 1980s. Blaming rap music for all of this is incredibly stupid and dishonest.
I still can't believe anyone would actually listen to that garbage known as rap.
