Trump's right and he's also right that we need to bigly invest in upgrading our infrastructure.

the basic physical and organizational structures and facilities (e.g., buildings, roads, and power supplies) needed for the operation of a society or enterprise.
Nice idea TT but the country being 20+ trillion in debt and rising where is the money going to come from to pay for all this infrastructure up grade?
Its so absurd. Obama had a quarter of 5.2% GDP growth four years ago and the sky was falling and Trump has a quarter of 4.1% GDP growth and it is "the envy of the world"?
Just ignore these quarterly GDP growth rates. They mean nothing for the average Joe. Wages have been flat for 20 years for the majority and people think GDP growth is what matters?
We need to strengthen the labor union movement, push for Medicare-for-all and getting big money out of politics. Thats the solution. Not hyping meaningless GDP growth rates.
Two things. First of all its better to have a strong economy than a weak one.
Two. What happened during 8 years of Obama including the time when his party controlled both houses? The perfect time to have tackled infrastructure was when the economy was bad, high unemployment etc. Yet it never happened. He was intent on pushing alternative energy and electric cars but infrastructure was kicked down the road.
My feeling is if the dems take both houses Trump will have an easier time getting infrastructure done.
