Only a person that that is prone to extreme exaggeration and hyperbole would ever make this claim. It is far from reality. Things were far worse during the cold war with the Cuban missile crisis, Berlin blockade & airlift, Gary Powers, the Moscow olympics boycott for Afghanistan invasion, etc....

No. This is probably one of the best points in our relationship history. Russia with a lap dog in place who wags his tail when Putin scratches his chin and growls at American intelligence assets, so you know they're happy. You've got the sycophantic class of deplorable Trumpettes who will go along with whatever their dear Leader tells them is true, so they're mindlessly happy to be good boys for Trump.
