It's not ever going to happen. Hell, right now we are selling something around 1-2 million a year. They'd have to stop the new ones before they can even think about the old ones. On top of that it would have to be ALL semi autos which is around 200 million...MILLION! It would cost three or four times what they want for a new border wall.

Do you door knock every household in America? That's funny.

yeah, that got hammered into me a few years ago and it came from liberals on the board i respect. and that has always been the problem of saying all liberals or all conservatives want this or that, it just isnt true.

I know, but it's sure getting annoying to hear the same ridiculous and literally impossible "idea" repeated over and over by the Left.

If they could actually do magic (the only way all the "assault weapons" in private hands could be collected) why don't they just make murder itself go away?

"Gun Grabber"- someone who wants to go beyond reasonable gun control to a full on ban of weapons.

"Gun Goober"- Any gun supporter that truly believes in the the slippery slope argument.

They both are wrong and they both need to be called out.

really? gun goober? thats you best argument? reality check here, back in the 60s the courts required that a warning label be put on a pack of cigarettes indicating that particular product may cause cancer. later on the anti cigarette crowd got more and more warning labels on those cigarette packs, and during that time the anti cigarette crowd constantly sued the tobacco companies, and regularly lost. then they started winning the lawsuits, which emboldened them more, and they started winning more. they started getting laws passed about where people could smoke, and when. all part of the slippery slope argument that was made way back in the past about cigarettes, and no cigarettes while still legal, are now heavily taxed, and you cant smoke them just anywhere like you could in the past.

the gun grabbers are trying to use the same routine with guns. so you can poo poo the slippery slope argument, but it is reality, and it has begun, about 40 years ago or so.

Yea, I think the gun goober is someone who is so naive to think that the slippery slope strategy by the gun grabbers is not a real one.

What is not good is this proposal in California where if you do not turn in your guns they will arrest you.
I wonder how many criminals will turn in their guns out of fear of criminal prosecution?

At least in California they are offering some money, in my state of Mass. they banned bump stocks, gave a 2 month grace period to turn them in and if you didn't you could be arrested and no doubt lose everything when they nail you to the wall to make an example of you.

This is nothing more than a veiled attempt, for "public safety" but it is more about seizing and confiscating guns from law abiding citizens when we all know that the criminals will do nothing.
I like them too! I always go with a sack of money and a sign that says I have more money then the cops!!!!

Most moronic post yet. Idiot liberals will use any excuse to deprive people of their rights. The latest excuse du hour is school shootings.

Never believe a Liberal about Guns.
Let me get this straight: no liberal owns a gun and/or any person who owns a gun is automatically a conservative?
