According to the Los Angeles Times, “a group of major GOP donors that spent millions on ads to elect President Trump also plans to take on the Los Angeles congresswoman in next year’s midterm election.”

I have said for months, Omar Navarro is more in touch with his district than the district Maxine doesn't even live in and is going to pull an upset here, or be so close the democrats are crapping bricks.

And there is the Democrat primary where a Latino Democrat can challenge her for the nomination. If the Latino wins, Waters is gone.

Can it happen? Sure it can. High profile Eric Cantor lost his seat in a primary, not general election.

That's what everybody said about Trump. A repub challenger has a rough road but if he runs a smart campaign he could do it. I have a friend who lives in her district and she says that everyone she knows is embarrassed by Maxine and hates her.

Omar is a persistent man and many in the district didn't know Maxine didn't even live in their hell.

"Leadership?" How? In what way?

Black? A dumb thing to say. It's about her ideology and policies, not about her color.

Best chance at unseating Maxine Waters would come from another democrat with a strong primary challenge. Given state of Californian politics and demographics GOP has nil chances of taking that seat, and indeed may be fighting to keep the Congressional seats they do hold.

On another note if all goes according to predictions California will pick up a good number of House seats after the next census. That has the GOP in House and elsewhere *very* worried.

I just went through 4 pages of people saying Maxine has went off the rails, too old and need to retire, is a clown and a racist

And all I could think about is wow huge similarity to Trump, yet the same posters worship the orange wig on his head

Absolutely hilarious

Of course it isn't.

I think they need to get the guy from "Swamp People" to hit the bricks with her challenger, he could be the guy who eventually changes enough people's minds in her district to flip this district to her challenger.
