It shows you the length the GOP will go to keep out a person that will support Trump.

Is the GOP sanctioning his run? Last I read..the State party was threatening to kick out anyone who supported a write in candidate

I think any random person off the street would have a good chance of being a better person than Moore.

So it has nothing to do with sexual allegations but is all about power and getting that vote for the party.

Liberal media is help to elect Roy and so it seems are you.

Truthfully I don't know, but this guy didn't come out of nowhere, somebody is backing him.

Not a party thing..I don't support sexual predators..I got daughters and grand-daughters.

Moore is slime..and his opposition is a genuine hero.

Not that it matters...i'm not in Alabama.

It would seem that the low-information, Republican voters of Alabama would be overwhelmed by all this. And considering that writing-in a name on a ballot, would be stretching the literary capabilities of many of them, it seems to all be a cascade of bonuses for Doug Jones, the 49th Democratic Senator.

The only question at this point, is will the Republican Governor postpone the election, to sabotage the process? If that happens, it may be a preview of what the Republicans might try to do to the national elections next fall, to avoid a ruinous defeat.

This should be an interesting dynamic. I could see this guy siphoning off as many Jones votes as Moore votes. Lots of people who were leaning toward Jones because they didn't want to vote for Moore (even though they'd normally vote republican) might write in this guy instead.
