The HillBilly and McCrazy gang will hit Obama for reverse racism, has Obama done enough to lay claim of faults on both sides
The question is meaningless until they actually attempt to hit Obama for reverse racism. No politician is going to touch that one without killing their campaign.

Well, I voted for what I would *like* to see the nation do, which is accept fault as a nation and move forward.
I think many people do see content of character behind sound bites.
What Obama says here might actually reach people:
"Most working- and middle-class white Americans don't feel that they have been particularly privileged by their race," Obama said. "As far as they're concerned, no one's handed them anything . . . So when they are told to bus their children to a school across town; when they hear that an African American is getting an advantage in landing a good job or a spot in a good college because of an injustice that they themselves never committed . . . resentment builds over time."
However, if people can only see 2 minutes of Wright on YouTube, these divisions might not be overcome.
When they let the shills do the dirty work, then you have an issue.. Until that time, the question is meaningless. Not ONE Republican, or their "shills" have stated race at all in this campaign let alone McCain.
You go Democrats, continue to divide the country, now along racial lines. No one divides better then the Democrats.

Most people don't know what racism means. Obama nor J. Wright is trying to opress anyone. I agree with expat007. I do blame the news media for taking snippits of Wrights lesson and making something of it that doesn't exhist.
We have to take control of the way we think. Don't get upset about something that you see on youtube or hear on the 10 oclock news. Do some investigation of your own. Find out what others are saying about Wright and Trinity's mission. Find out what the UCC denomination is saying about this man. Talk to some of the people yourself that attends Trinity. Talk to some of the white people that go to the church. The mission of Trinity is one of self empowerment. They have always stood for taking care of your own. But the media doesn't like that. They are twisting his words around saying that he wants to blame the white man for everything. Which one is it. Self empowerment or blaming the white man. He's damned if he do. Damned if he don't.
People have to think for themselves. Don't take Rush Limbaugh or Foxnews or anyone word for anything. Think for yourself.
