I think the show is pretty much over. The USA will survive but only in our own minds will we be "#1". The entire rest of the world is moving on...

Putin and China's leader have a higher worldwide approval rating than Trump (and America)....when the question is asked as to whether they are moving their countries forward. Merkels is off-the-charts.

I think Germany is the new head of the Western World and China of the world-in-general. If China is not there yet it will be within a few short years.

Heck, we can't even build a simple mid-speed rail line here. We can't do the basic health care other countries solved decades ago. We keep wasting more on fruitless wars...not even approved or declared by Congress.

We celebrate the Moochers on Wall Street which making it harder and harder for the average American.

It sux. Of course, to some extent it always has but the Ideal has been there...and some headed toward those Ideals. Now it's just too obvious that Money is the Religion of America...and we are Fundamentalists in that religion.
No arguments there though I do not think we need to be #1.

We have an incredibly tough ice director in Homan and a very anti illegal immigrant attorney general who aren't playing around .that project in Wisconsin is the largest economic investment by a company in wisconsins history. Steel and coal for sure but the manufacturing index in America has soared under Trump

If people don't think trump has done a good job we may see republicans have problems in 2018 but I doubt it . The democrats grow weaker every day
You may doubt it but he is doing a terrible job.

The wall won't happen. Even if it does we aren't supposed to pay for it. If we do pay for the wall it would be just another lie.

The plant in Wisconsin was being discussed in 2014. It just happens to be opening during Trump's reign.

The best president in your lifetime? Are you 10?

I truly have a hard time believing some of you Trump followers. You are either trolling or you have some really thick blinders on.

The statement was......."Trump is not likely to get any more nominees confirmed, for anything".

He will.

The reality is Trump has gotten as close to barricading the doors as he can. Trump is isolating himself the same way he wants to isolate the USA. Maybe he figures if he is fighting with congress he can tell Putin that he is doing his best but government won't play...

Yeah, Trump is completely isolated and cut-off.

He's holed-up with working Americans at his MAGA rallies in OH, PA, IA, KY, TN and FL.

He obviously still doesn't understand that the election is over and it's time to get on to the real business of governing by selling out ordinary Americans to the international corporate alliances, K-street lobbyists and hedge fund managers.

Meanwhile, we have made virtually no progress on the nation's truly important issues such as transgender bathroom use, green energy initiatives and investigating Russia-Trump conspiracy theories!

Trump gave them a chance and they failed. They were never going to enact Trumps agenda and now that have used up any leverage they have with Trump. Trump has the leverage now. He is not obligated to sign anything they produce. They won't get the votes to override every veto or legislation sent to his desk and he won't sign without getting something in return. Congress is up for election in 2018 not Trump.
Trump is a joke and has no leverage. It was evident in the failed obamacare repeal.

Well, I don't know that it would go that far if he did fire Sessions.

But I have read that a dozen or so GOP senators are totally fed up with Trump and that Sessions is/was well-liked in the Senate. Fire him and any cooperation they'd give Trump would be an accident.
