Kevorkian candidacy could complicate Michigan congressional race
Assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian plans to run for Congress, complicating a Michigan race that is expected to be among the most competitive in the nation.
The so-called "Dr. Death," who was released from prison last year and remains on parole, will run as a candidate with no party affiliation for a congressional seat representing Detroit's suburbs, an associate said.
"Jack is in great spirits, and he intends to do this. He just hopes for some honesty in government," said Ruth Holmes, Kevorkian's longtime jury consultant.

He'd get my vote, I don't think he did anything morally wrong or took any actions that aren't taken by other Drs bur disguised a little better.
I've always been confused as to why people have a problem with other people dying. Seems selfish. I know a lot of doctors will knowingly over medicate their patients if they ask for it.
I won't say he'd get my vote, because I don't know where he stands on other issues, but he is probably libertarian leaning based on his philosophy on assisted suicide.

Justin, if you think youre confused now, DONT visit the abortion thread, lol...
I don't know enough about his political views to say if I would hypothetically vote for him or not... but I think assisted suicide should be a right. I have seen people that had no quality of life left suffering until they finally died. Were I in that situation, I'd rather meet a quick end.

I avoid it at all costs.
