There actually is no negative marginal tax rate, so explain why so many have a negative effective federal income tax rate :

Effective Federal Income Tax Rates By Income Quintile

And the fact that the bottom 40% of income-earning households have a NEGATIVE effective federal income tax rate is still true as of the most recently available data (2014). Liberal think tanks studied the IRS's federal income tax data thinking they'd be able to call out "the rich" for not paying a federal income tax rate at least equal to what the middle class pays. Turns out the truth is exactly the opposite. Note the HUGE drop (10 percentage points) in the effective federal income tax rate between the top 1% and the top >1-5%, and the fact that the bottom 40% actually has a NEGATIVE effective federal income tax rate:

" *Individual income tax rates for the lowest and second lowest quintiles are negative and are netted against the payroll tax rate. A quintile is one fifth of the population."
Careful. Socialists can't handle the facts.

Federal Government/Wall Street Venn Diagram

And how can you forget Tax Cheat Timmy Geithner? He didn't pay the taxes he signed in acknowledgment that he owed, so Obama made him Secretary of the Treasury and therefore the head of the IRS.
Where have "I" been??? Where have you been?? I don't deny that Democrats have done as you say, but do you deny that Republicans have done the same?

"Lefty elites"??? NO LEFTY who has any claim to the title of "lefty" would participate in such things. Such people are not "left". They are liars.

Can you produce as extensive a list as the Wall Streeters Bill Clinton and Obama placed into executive federal government office/service? Did the Republicans ever put a KNOWN tax evader in office as the Secretary of the Treasury and therefore the head of the IRS?

Please... do tell...

As someone in Amsterdam said during our last election, "we think it's funny when Americans complain about their 'left-wing' party. America doesn't HAVE a left-wing party. It has a right-wing party and a far-right-wing party."

This is actually very true. The two major parties are very close together in ideology because lobbying has made it that way rather than personal choice of the citizens. Both are right-wing authoritarian parties.

I have the right to complain about our two right-wing only options, seeing as how I dislike both equally as much.

Anyone somewhat educated on political science would know the Democrats are not left-wingers. Not in the slightest. In fact in this election, Hillary is more to the right than Donald, but Donald is much more authoritarian, but both are still pretty far from the libertarian side of things.

Good post. Real socialists laugh like hyenas when the far right accuses Democrats of socialism.

Donald Trump used to be one of Hillary's supporters when she was a New York Senator when it worked for him to be. Now he's her "opponent". It's all a game, and the American people are just extra pieces in the box to be moved around the board as needed.

This is why I like to read up on politics in European countries on the occasion. I watch Sweden's mostly as they have been in recent turmoil I have heard regarding their conservative party (it had a really long and weird name and I'm completely blanking on it) with racism and I do have family and friends over there.

Politics are getting worse over here because of the lack of options. With having blood relatives in Sweden, I do have a higher chance of being accepted for a visa over there. I have been considering it, though like immigration into any other country, it becomes difficult. I wouldn't mind even living in Sweden just temporarily, to see what it's like.

What's worse is when Republicans criticize Russia. They don't even know that Russian politics (not Soviet Union) is what they are aiming for.
