can government discriminate against a closely held corporation due to the race, religion or sex of the corporate shareholders?

Corporations are not people. It's all a legal fiction.

But, the corporation wouldn't/shouldn't hold the cause of action in your instance.

The individual shareholders are the ones who can and should sue or make complaints if the "government" discriminates against their business due to the make up of the ownership or employees.


Just the same as if a business was owned by a sole proprietor or LLC.
