Then why does BLM show up everywhere these days? Contrary to popular belief you can't fight racism with racism. The BLM movement is hurting its own cause
They are talking about cops shooting poor poorly behaved young black folks or old black men who are drunk or doped up. There should be an educational program that explains to black youth....that if you do not act like a civil reasonable person - you might have a problem. That if you act like a fool....other fools with guns might kill you...including foolish cops. I have a young blonde blue eyed son who would be at risk if he loses control in public...It has nothing to do with color. The problem is with affirmative hiring of law enforcement....people who would never be fit to be cops in the old days are now cops....and some of them are real dumb...which makes them dangerous....Tell your black kids to watch out for dumb people....evil and stupidity are the same entity. Just be careful of dumb unreasonable people with guns....cops included.

"Black Lives Matter" is a racist slogan. For one, it presupposes that somehow whites and others think that the lives of African Americans don't matter to begin with. Well how dare you. If certain members of the African American community believe that they are being mistreated by their local police departments or governments they should take it up with them, not go around lobbing accusations at everyone else.
Well of course black lives matter, so does everyone else's!
If news stories showed incident after incident of cops shooting as many white people as black people, it may have been "All Lives Matter". But that isn't reality, so the point was valid.
Their real problem is they weren't clearly organized, didn't properly spread their message, were all over the board with what their complaints were, and thought they'd win sympathy by being disruptive. They were wrong.
It's too bad, too, they've got a legitimate complaint, but their execution on this was terrible.

No, in fact many have pointed out the hypocrisy of complaints leveled about police shooting blacks, when they aren't protesting about blacks killing blacks.
Eh, so what. It's just a slogan. If you don't like it, well then that's too bad. I'm not for it or against it but just because you're offended, it doesn't grant you certain rights. It's no more than a whine. It's pointless and it's meaningless.
This whole Cop vs. African American situation isn't that cops are racist. Some are but a highly majority of them are not racist. The problem is like people, the police hold implicit biases which means automatically associating people and the stereotypes we have about those people. The police have done it towards African Americand a whole lot and there's nothing we can do to change how human psychology works. When you know nearly 85% of all violent crimes are done by 19% of the population you will think differently. It turns heads. Nearly every person on earth holds implicit biases and it's the way our brain functions. If you don't hold these biases then quite frankly you're a very very rare individual. Most of our biases come from subconscious thoughts we didn't even know we had. I'm guilty of it and I bet nearly all of you are...and those who don't show guilt are most likely lying. We all stereotype once in awhile...

BLM was advocating for "black only safe spaces" at various universities. Sounds like they want Jim Crow laws to return. How are they different from the Klan?
