Because it doesn't fit the agenda of Europes political elites.
I know it's absurd!
I've seen more pics of men cradling little bundles of babies, and women clustered around tots...
The ratio of pics of loving families and hordes of men is ridiculous and no reflection of the real numbers. Some believe that the numbers aren't even correct and it's more like 90% men instead of 80% or 70% in some places.
Where will they fly 60,000-80,000 rejected applicants to? Will the countries of destination allow such flights to land and/ or passengers to disembark?
They are not all from Syria. Someone without ID can be from anywhere.
Changing nationalities was fairly common stuff post WW2, with Displaced Persons, depending on which countries were in favor of out of favor. Heck of a lot of Poles were eventually resettled in the US and Canada who were not Polish.
Families tended to recieve resettlement priorities. Marriages of convenience were common and many were wedded in large group ceremonies. It took a decade to sort it all out.
Jews, antisemites, Nazi sympathizers and just plain ole destitute lived and fought in Occupation Camps, side by side. Locals feared and despised them all. Upon resettlement in the US, they were often viewed as DP's and not particularly welcome outside their own very tight, non assimilating ethnic groups and particular brand of religion.
The lack of a 24/7 news cycle, Internet and social media kept a lid on the violence within and near Occupation Camps, throughout Europe in those times past.
( My husband was born in an Occupation Camp, in Germany)
Not comparable to today, and it's not just because of news/internet.
(My father was born in a refugee camp during the same period).
ISIS didn't send anybody of those men to Germany. Those 680 "hardcore islamists" are german born citizens.
I also enjoy it when it is suggested that it might not be the refugees. It might be the residents already there (who never assimilated). Do you think it occurs to them that it makes the implications worse?
Scandinavian and Eurpoean Countries accept all refugees and vet them once they are in the Country, that is the complete opposite of what the US does, in order for a refugee to gain entry to the US they are vetted in a refugee camp where they spend 18-36 months before they ever set foot in the US
It was bound to happen. I'm not about to celebrate over this. There are going to be innocents who will be hurt by it. But when you're are guest in somebody's house and your father and brother trash the place and violently attack their hosts, the whole guest family is going to get kicked out. That's life.
If Germany doesn't follow suit soon, they're absolutely crazy.
High time all of Western Europe started dealing with their Muslim problem instead of just ignoring it.
"One of them was refused to buy sweets and became furious with the staff member. He collected together around fifteen friends and the staff were forced to shut themselves in while they broke windows and did what they liked.
Police last night seized two of the young men. One, a 16-year-old boy suspected of starting the riot, is still being held. The other has been released."
What's the problem? It's just the sweet children that Obama publicly scolded us all for being concerned about...
its good news and all, but 85% of the countries that these people came from, DONT WANT THEM BACK and are not agreeing to take them
