True, they have people stirred up about if the towers were detonated vs. just fell due to the planes...and even crackpots claiming they weren't even hit by planes at all....
Meanwhile, our glaring intelligence failure and relationship with the Sauds goes unnoticed because of all the stupid noise going on.
Then again, there is decent money to be made selling conspiracy stuff. Alex Jones has become a rich man making such claims as the Washington earthquake was a nuke test...and lo and behold his site sponsors and advertisers will happily sell you MRE's, radiation detectors and gold....
Never rule out the simple fact that just like the snake oil salesmen (that are still with us to this day) there is plenty of $$$ to be made just selling garbage.
Oh yeah, and Dylan Amery made a few bucks with his videos just by tweaking the marketing from fiction to nonfiction.
There is actually a very plausible theory as to what may have contributed to the towers collapse and could explain away some of the things often used by conspiracists such as the molten metal filmed in that one video clip and reports of explosions.
Aluminum makes up a very large part of a plane. Pound for pound aluminum under the right conditions is one of the most powerful explosives there is. When in a molten state and exposed to water it instantly creates huge quantifies of hydrogen gas.

Nothing can explain the free-fall implosion of Building 7 though. People that want to bring this issue to light should focus on that.
That makes sense. And then you have to wonder if the government is behind some of the conspiracy theories so that people don't look at what they are REALLY doing!

In case you missed the memo, I worked in One WTC for 20 years, was in the building on 9/11, worked out of a construction office during recovery and cleanup, worked on the rebuilding of the site, and work at the WTC complex again now. I am most definitely not in the tinfoil camp.
