lmao...It's not the middle class that will turn us into a 3rd world hellhole, it's the poor, the lazy and the fraudulent that will because they are increasing in numbers by the day.

Darn tootin'! Those poor people are just too greedy! They're not poor enough! That's the problem!
The 'middle class' is shrinking due to lack of jobs, low wages, taxes and incompetent government. In the 50's and 60's people were moving UP into the middle class working in factories and construction and transportation...I had neighbors making a good living, putting money in the bank and eventually sent their kids to college working at B.F. Goodrich, Yellow Freight, U.S. Metal Container, Crane Industries. NONE of those jobs are left in the town where I grew up. The 'middle class' has enough trouble without OP piling on

Agree and the op seems to ignore that most middle income people have seen their wages reduced with this economy making for more poor and desperate people. Taxes are often the burden of the middle class not the rich or the very poor, but the middle class. Not sure where the op gets his information

Well then, the answer is obvious! We're not taxing the poor enough!!
