They were crying when the oil prices were going up also. Supermarkets couldn't wait to raise prices. Airlines were also raising prices almost weekly. Now, prices of oil are going down, where are our discounts for the money we are overpaying? Once they raise prices they usually never come down. It's another scam on the public....

Yes, every business raised prices when gas prices were high(grocers, florists, airlines, retailers etc). Yet no one is lowering prices.

Regarding the Saudis, I hope their production lessens the fracking in our country. There are too many stories about fracking poisoning water supplies, mini earthquakes etc

This isn't "historically low." It used to be this low as a norm. Low energy prices should be beneficial to all. It should stimulate the economy. I remember gasoline being 29 cent/gallon, and the economy booming. Artificially holding oil off the market (limiting production, as the old cartel has done in the past), is what harms the economy.

But there are other factors that affect the economy. A big one is Barack Hussein Obama's policies, and things are never going to be like they once were until we get rid of the ass in the White House with his destructive policies. He is the biggest problem we have right now.

Oil went to $140 plus under Bush.

What is your 29 cent gas price in today's dollars. (I believe that we are either at, or near historic low when indexed for inflation)

No surprise but it's funny how little airplane fares, transportation costs and heating bills have remained where they were at $70 a barrel when they should have decreased anywhere from 15-50%.

That's an act of war. Enough already.

And again with the stability nonsense. Why do you guys care so much about stability NOW? No one was screaming about stability when a barrel was over a $100 bucks.

But now, "stability" is an issue now that the consumer is getting a good deal.

Easily answered:

If prices are high, it's President Obama's recklessness causing the consumer to suffer at the pump and manipulating us into using commie-socialist electric cars and public transit. He simply harbors an inexplicable hatred of fossil fuel, and of capitalism.

If prices are low, it's President Obama's recklessness causing a major part of the US economy, in the heartland states, into a recession. He simply harbors an inexplicable hatred of fossil fuel, and of capitalism.

If prices stay the same, it's President Obama's recklessness causing stagnation in an otherwise booming economic sector. He simply harbors an inexplicable hatred of fossil fuel, and of capitalism.

If prices go sideways - well, you guessed it.
