Now I was for Russia stepping in to help. Putin is no stranger to war strategies.
And Syria should not fall at this time only to become the next unstable ME country.

But I find it quite funny that there are no more cries of "Putin is killing civilians".

Now the US needs to pull back their "US backed rebels" from still trying to topple Assad and concentrate on ISIS instead.

The largest bombing raid in decades. The best part is that Russia actually communicated the raid with US counterparts. Maybe there is hope that we can work together.
Not under Obama's watch he does not like white people like Putin.

Yes, Syria has oil. The bombing of the 'Iraq oil fields' that Trump has been taking credit for, which we have already been hitting, are in Syria. And there are reasons we haven't bombed the hell out of them previously.

I wouldn't say greatest. Brutal for sure. Using mines that look like toys in Afghanistan???
That said they do make some deadly weapons and they are not afraid to use them.
The point of my thread isn't to make Russia out to be a hero, but to show that we can work with them. To defeat ISIS and every other lunatic group out there, we all need to work together.
The USA can't sustain a lone ranger approach to the Middle East. Nor should we. Countries who can't contribute with their military should be giving up some cash to help pay for it.
