This is very sad....... The cop is dead FOR NO REASON!!

I think, with the exception of a single loony, we can all agree a cop has a right to shoot someone to defend his own life.

Everyone has the right to shoot someone to defend their own lives or the lives of others whether the threat is armed with a weapon or just their bare hands.

During my brief career as a LEO a fellow officer in my department had his flashlight taken away from him during a struggle with a unarmed burglary suspect during a foot pursuit. The officer was beaten to death with his own flashlight.
