this is funny.........not!

While community and law enforcement relations are important, putting the community in charge of policing through community policing and creating a social work police department as this administration hopes to do, will eventually destroy the rule of law.
Obama Blames Police – Baltimore Moves Him Closer to Federalization of Policing | www.independentsentinel.com

In his speech this afternoon, Mr. Obama seemed to insinuate that the police were at fault. He should have come out a lot stronger against the criminals during his speech – there were only criminals operating last night. He said there were a handful of thugs, though there were hundreds. He sniped at the media for seeming to exaggerate the burning down of a CVS as if to minimize the destruction when it was far more than one drugstore affected.

What i hear, and what you hear when the president speaks is quite different. Why do you think there were 100s of thugs. Because there were a lot of blacks in the lens of a cameraman? Also, the presidents motives are always questioned by you and yours, where I and mine, believe his motives are quite honorable.

Cop deaths on the job are at a forty year low; meanwhile, law enforcement homicides from 2003-present are at an all time high of more than double the previous record years. Cops are killing more than ever when statistically a bartender is a more dangerous career and crime rates have been steadily dropping to record lows for decades. It's out of control!

The Federal Government is flooding local Police Departments with military gear and weapons which they are not trained to use and not intended for city streets-it is more corporate welfare and money laundering for the war corporations and banks. The completely unjust and hypocritical War on "drugs" is still ravaging poor communities (it is also the longest and costliest war in American history). More people die today of legal drugs than any illegal drug epidemic in history. Legal drug overdose has become the #1 cause of accidental death, surpassing gun deaths and auto accidents for the first time in history. Meanwhile, pharmaceuticals is the most profitable industry in the country and our corporately owned media remains deathly silent. There are more people in jail today for non-violent drug offenses than total inmates in 1980. We are spending so much time on non-violent offenders committing victimless crimes and not enough on murderers, rapists, thieves and many within our own Government.

Cops are mostly creating hate all on their own because they are forced to enforce unjust laws and wage unjust wars. They mostly serve to bring in revenue to the state, not to deter violence.

But I guess facts will not stop some from getting all riled up watching propaganda media.

5 facts exposing the media's lies about police shootings

Police have killed more citizens than vice versa. This whole war on cops bit is ridiculous.Police have been killing people over petty crap left and right several times the rate of police slayings. Besides remember the WAR on drugs? They call it that for a reason. People get their doors kicked in, their windows broken and entire families are chased out if their homes in the sleep with flash grenades, families get fractured, fined, imprisoned and all out destroyed over petty crap like marijuana, which is in some form legal in much of the country.do the people do that to the Darren Wilson's out there? That was the police and the people that own them declaring war on anyone who dared to alter their own conscious.

In a country with largest prison population, that perhaps the world has ever seen, this is not about people breaking the law, this is about the law breaking people

Some people who haven't had bad experiences with police simply can't wrap their heads around the fact that police harassment is a VERY real thing.

It's one of two rites of passage for young black men in inner cities: get your a** kicked for no reason by gangbangers/thugs and get your a** kicked for no reason by the police.

Its true, I had heard about police brutality, but the same way I heard about wars and famine - all somewhere else. Till one day my neighbors were raided at 5-6 am exactly as I described. Two children under four were chased out with flash grenades these two siblings were taken to different locations for days. And the cops didn't even consider thinking about maybe batting an eye at this.

Nobody, flat out nobody does this to any cop. Cops don't endure this, and if so its in a microscope scale. But that is the mark of the bigot, the tyrant and the thug - holding your neck down with their boot so you can't interrupt them while they're crying persecution. Its the oldest dirtiest trick there ever was. And its dangerous because there's a lot of tension about all of this. And the PR stunt they're pulling is exactly the way to make a self fulfilling prophecy. Bit that's what they want, more cause for more police. Iraq had WMDs and we have a war on cops

And it proves there has always been hatred towards police officers. It existed long before President Obama ever got involved in politics. That rap song you speak of, that's an 80s song. There was hatred towards the police in the 60s. Consider those riots.

Well, when police kick in your door, fracture your family, maybe shoot some of them, over something like drugs; who make half their income fining people over arbitrary laws and perpetuate mass imprisonment its kinda hard to respect a guy like that.
