Is Obama doing enough to prevent an Ebola outbreak in America? | Fox News
For the love of God Obama, do something. We have people crossing the border who might have ebola.
It has killed 3000 by that time of that post.

A few short days later - November 12th - and....Fox News declare Obama’s Ebola plans: A new boondoggle?
Obama <------ boondoggle; work or activity that is wasteful or pointless but gives the appearance of having value; to waste money or time on unnecessary or questionable projects.

Sure glad they are still letting people get in there. Think of what how it might've been otherwise. Would take some real geniuses to just shut down everything and leave 'em hanging.
How to stop Ebola in America: Ban air travel from West Africa | Fox News - (October 15th.)

Oh crap! They need more people and more beds built! Tell us more Fox News! But how can they build more beds, if they don't let people travel? (November 29)
Ebola death toll up to nearly 7,000, Sierra Leone needs more beds | Fox News

Oh God this is outbreak time for America, please do something!
What you're doing is pointless and a waste of time and money!
Here's what we should do. It's very stupid!
Oh God, this is terrible! Please do something!

The best way to keep Ebola from spreading within the U.S. is to close the borders and ban air travel from West Africa.
... The U.S. and West Africa are simply connected by air travel. All it takes is one person – one asymptomatic carrier – who is unaware or untruthful about their exposure to Ebola to initiate an explosive outbreak here in the U.S.

See.... you've got your outbreaks....and then you have your EXPLOSIVE OUTBREAKS. Those are way, way worse than just your regular outbreak. The fact that we don't wash our own dead and have working waste handling facilities makes zero difference.

What's your point? That the media dramatizes everything? No kidding. Would you like a history of what each channel has done on stories in the past? We could start with CNN's non stop speculation with experts and toy planes after the Malaysian airplane disappeared. Aliens and time travel anyone? We could talk about over hyped b.s. from the media all day long. To insinuate that only Fox News is foaming at the mouth and making a story bigger than it is, is dishonest, and you know it.

Heck, even that clown in the WH jumped on the "let's hype this up" bandwagon when he said:

http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/15/politi...ola/index.html

Quote:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will have "SWAT teams" ready to send to hospitals where future cases are discovered, he said.
Really now. SWAT teams?

If you had a clue, you would understand that media no longer concentrates on facts, regardless of the channel. The more you lefties whine and cry about Fox News, the more you make yourselves look like morons. ALL media is a bunch of lies. All of those channels are fricken lying to you...but you lefties like to pretend it's only Fox News. If you believe any of it, on any channel, you're as stupid as Gruber thinks you are.

Unless it's contained and continues to spread in Africa the less likely that will remain true. At this point in time my greatest concern is if there is a concerted effort to spread it into the US.

With everything else going on in our country, Ebola is my least concern.

Close the land borders with Canada and Mexico - both passenger and commercial traffic. Shut down all ports of entry.
Americans who leave the country cannot return.
Ball all foreigners from entering the country.
Ban all international passenger and cargo flights.
Close all sea ports - no international shipping or Carnival cruises.
Kill anyone who won't comply and still tries to enter the US or gets within breathing distance of border guard.
Ban chocolate, cacao, coffee, and oil imports.
Yep, that's a plan.

If there were a dozen ebola patients in the USA it would break the taxpayer's bank.

NYC is charging the feds for 20 million $$ for one case of ebola!

"ALBANY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP)Sen. Charles Schumer says the federal government should reimburse New York City and Bellevue Hospital Center for costs related to Ebola.
The New York Democrat said Sunday that more than $20 million has been spent on tracking health professionals and others arriving from Ebola-stricken countries and treating Dr. Craig Spencer, a physician who recovered from the illness after receiving treatment at Bellevue.
Schumer said federal reimbursement for most of the costs is justified because the efforts are helping to prevent the deadly disease from getting a foothold in the United States."

Medical alerts for south and central american diseases, some incurable like chagas disease, from being spread across the US by feds redistributing illegal aliens and having a porous border. Insect vectors capable of carrying some of the most deadly diseases present a greater threat.

Obama appoints an ebola czar and we never hear from the guy and have no idea what he is doing. Actions like this and lack of trust in leadership, lay the base for widespread fear even when the fear is unfounded.

Obama is the guy who is supposed to catch you when you close your eyes and lean back in that game of trust. Problem is obama is distracted by sports scores on his blackberry and forgot his immediate responsibility to engender trust as he lets the person fall to the ground with ahead injury.

sigh

no it would not break our bank. #1 NY is the most expensive place to do this

#2 we can afford 20 million X 12 without much of an issue.

#3 it gets cheaper with more people.
