I'm just asking because the term "transphobic" has become a buzz word as of late among the ideological left. I don't think trans people should be discriminated against in employment or any other vital opportunities, but what about heterosexual men not wanting to date trans women? Is that a case of transphobia?

No but on the flip side no trans woman should be forced to wear a scarlet letter that discloses her former status. (Since in most states you can legally change your sex)

For young transitioners who are post surgery you wouldn't know.

One good look at their private areas and you'd know. The surgery doesn't make it look natural at all. I've seen it before.
