Perhaps they believe the more money people get paid the more likely they are to go out and buy things thus stimulating the economy?

When you hear this from them, please set the record straight: President Obama has averaged fewer executive orders, per year, than any president in the last 125 years.

well actually......

Obama has almost the same amount that bush had in 8 years.....and again...then most was the fascist FDR

This evening, O' Reilly came out strongly in favor of $10.10 and minimum wage laws, in general.

He called arguments that it causes job loss , "bunk".

The major polls demonstrate that a super majority of people, regardless of politics, favors increasing minimum wage.

Probably the same majority of people that want amnesty passed.

How raising the federal minimum wage would help working families and give the economy a boost?

It won't do jack.

Before the left gets all wet over this and the right gets wound up in outrage, consider these points.

First, any EO Obama signs can be unsigned by his successor.

Secondly, and more importantly, this hike is on NEW contracts, not existing contracts or contracts that are extended. And I defy anyone to find anyone not making more than MW in the defense industry.

So, this is just a gigantic load of crap. Its meaningless and for show. Smoke and mirrors to indicate that he is doing something about MW and wage inequality.

The bottom line is this EO is not worth using as toilet paper.

A reminder: The wages for the employees of Federal Contractors are often set by The Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Act (google it and learn something).
VERY FEW, if any, such employees work for minimum wage!

THAT is a FACT!!
