A new study by the World Bank and the International Finance Corp. found that the U.S. ranks well behind countries like Rwanda, Belarus and Azerbaijan in terms of how easy it is for an entrepreneur to start a new business. The U.S. did narrowly beat Uzbekistan, though.
Ah, Rwanda! The place to go to start a business! Of course, one should ignore the genocides that occur on occasion (up to 1 million slaughtered in 1994 or so). But, it is easy to open a store! No FDA to get in the way!
Belarus! Enchanting place with lots of trees, and a president (Lukashenko) who keeps getting re-elected with 80 percent of the vote! But it is so easy to start a business! Hint: peat is a big seller!
I know nothing of Azerbaijan, but the name simply trips off one's tongue, does it not?
Look at the list, why are all those other nations above the US? Canada is up at the top of the list, which might help explain why their economy is not stuck in a rut like ours is.
Back in 2008 the US was #3 in this same rankings from the annual World Bank report, and now we are #20. But you Obama sycophants can continue the snark as our country falls further behind the rest of the world.

By gosh, you mean that starting a business got harder to do after the credit crash of 2007? When banks and such were no longer loaning money? Hard to believe.
The idiot in the WH is determined to make sure you don't build it yourself.
