You do know we elected these people right? Thats sort of the definition of taxation with representation.....

And we pay incredibly low taxes compared to other developed countries.....

Just saying...

They sure don't represent me when they force-feed money to a military already bloated beyond any conceivable need. We could do nicely with less than half the current budget, given the lack of any foreseeable danger.

Im sorry you are upset that they dont represent your specific individual need, unfortunately government tends to be for groups of people....

Although I do think it would be REALLY freaking awesome if we could specify what we wanted our money spent on. NASA's budget would be immense! OK I love DARPA too.

I didn't elect Obama or either of our US Senators, they don't represent me at all in fact they generally run completely contrary to almost 50% of this state.

Just because other countries are grossly over taxed doesn't mean we should be too.

Perhaps you'd like it if there were only one party - the one you happen to prefer.

It's not my individual need, I don't need armed helicopters following me around for protection. Excessive military spending and unneeded wars are a prime reason why this empire is falling financially ..... much more so than the burdens of supporting welfare queens.

1. Hey we agree, lets lower the defense spending. Now we need to elect people that agree with us!

2. Welfare queens? I'm sorry thats so 20 years ago, you do know there is a limit to how long someone can collect welfare these days right? by law? Or did you miss that whole welfare reform thing.
